Avenged Sevenfold is a heavy metal band formed in Huntington Beach, California in 1999. Personnel consisting of M. Shadows (vocals), Synyster Gates (lead guitar), Zacky Vengeance (guitar), Johnny Christ (bass), and The Reverend (drums). And two former personnel Dameon Ash and Justin Sane has hengkan from this group.

Avenged Sevenfold's first album was titled Sounding the Seventh Trumpet (2002), followed by a second album Waking the Fallen (2003). In a second albums this group performed with Xl Rose, Kylie Minogue and Chris Cornell. Followed then the album City of Evil (2005) and Avenged Sevenfold (2007).

The group had mangung in Jakarta on August 7, 2007, the latter choose the path of pop music. This, supposedly after a lot of criticism due to his 'adopted' effec sound that has been hit before. They claim to heavy metal does not suit him, and more like pop music.
Formation & Career Indie (1999-2003)
The band was formed in 1999 in Huntington Beach, California with original members M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Rev. and Matt Wendt. provide a reference band name comes from the story of Cain and Abel from the Bible, however, they are not a religious band. At its formation, each band member was wearing a pseudonym which is also the nickname they attended middle school at Upper. Before releasing their debut album, the band recorded two demos in 1999 and 2000. Their first album, Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, was recorded when the band members still was eighteen years old and still attending high school. This album was originally released by the company their first label, Good Life Records in 2001. After lead guitarist Synyster Gates joined the band, signed in late 1999 when he was 18 years old. The song "To End the Rapture" featuring re-recorded with a full band member. The album was later re-released on Hopeless Records in 2002.
The band then began to receive recognition, they played with bands such as Mushroomhead and Shadows Fall and play on the Take Action Tour. After their fourth bassist, Johnny Christ joined permanently, they released the album Waking the Fallen on Hopeless Records in August 2003. The band received recognition by Billboard and The Boston Globe, and also played at the "Vans Warped Tour." In 2004, Avenged Sevenfold tour back at the "Vans Warped Tour" and recording a video for the song "Unholy Confessions" which entered the charts in MTV2's Headbanger's Ball. Shortly after the release of Waking the Fallen, Avenged Sevenfold leave Hopeless Records and signed a contract proposed by Warner Bros..
